Soon to be married Lady Gaga and her fiancé Taylor Kinney didn't exactly hit it off from the beginning. The Chicago P.D. star recently revealed on Watch What Happens, that the pop singer slapped him during their initial introduction.

Kinney and Stefani Germanotta first met in 2011 while on set for the "You and I" music video, as Entertainment Tonight reports. "I show up and they're like, 'Oh this is the idea. This is the idea.' and I go, 'OK, just let me do my thing," he told Watch What Happens host Andy Cohen. "And I remember I went up, and we're rolling, and I kissed her and she didn't expect it. They cut, and she slapped me."

Although the first take may have been less than ideal, the two moved past the awkward encounter. Kinney went in for the kiss on the second go-around, this time without a follow-up slap. "I think there was chemistry. It was a late shoot. We were shooting until four or five in the morning. We exchanged information. A few weeks went by and we kept in touch and then that's that," he said.

The two got engaged back in February but the busy couple is taking their time with wedding planning, admitting that they don't have many details mapped out just yet due to Gaga preparing for her new album and Kinney working on Chiacgo Fire, MTV News notes. The 34-year-old actor explained to Cohen that they're in the midst of determining a destination and once that's locked down, a date can be picked afterwards.
