When it comes to humor, comedian and talk show host Chelsea Handler is one who consistenly dishes the funny not matter how many lines she crosses. One of her recent Instagram images posted on what just so happened to be Pregnancy and Infant Loss Day was all but funny to those who have suffered miscarriages in their past, though.

The former host of Chelsea Lately shared what she thought was a harmless photo of pomegranate with a simple caption that read, "It's impossible to enjoy eating a pomegranate when the end result is this." But it was the hash tag, "#MISCARRIAGE," which was later removed, that rubbed social media followers the wrong way.

InTouch Weekly reported that the 40-year-old comedian received complaints and comments in response to her post, that some considered insensitive and hurtful. Though the hashtag was later removed by Handler's assistant, that didn't stop comments like this from coming in. "As a mother who lost her twins this year, maybe you need to rethink your disgusting comment about a couple of cry babies because today and everyday we actually do cry about the babies we lost," one commenter wrote, according to In Touch. "I pray you never or anyone close to [you] has to endure the loss many couples not only women endure," she continued.

Huffington Post reported that some fans decided to back Handler on her sense of humor. According to the site, one fan wrote, "This has always been Chelsea's type of humor." Handler appeared completely oblivious to the idea of a day set aside to acknowledge miscarriages and those who have lost a child. After the removal of the hashtag, which as she explained is something her assistant only does when she's done something wrong, she posted this.

Prior to reading about herself online, the comedian and Netflix affiliate shared this photo of a dog requesting that everyone move on and get along.

Let's get back to pictures of dogs so everyone can just get along. Look at this little asshole. Chunk despises Tammy A photo posted by Chelsea Handler (@chelseahandler) on Oct 15, 2015 at 9:38am PDT

Chandler has taken on a new talk show deal with Netflix, according to Business Insider. According to the site, the new talk show is slated for a 2016 premeire date and will resemble what she used to do in a nightly talk show format. Hopefully those who watch won't be offended by anything she says during the new show.
