Toya Wright, the ex-wife of rap star Lil Wayne, and her new husband, producer Memphitz, have had their share of issues in their marriage, with the abuse allegations from K. Michelle at the center of the separation that ultimately lead to their pending divorce. Now, the estranged couple is heading to couple's therapy and seeking the help of Bravo's returning season of, Untying The Knot, to hopefully repair their union.

EUR reported how Wright and Memphitz are seeking the professional assistance of Vikki Ziegler, attorney and TV personality specializing in divorce management, to try to rekindle their union that fell a part after abuse allegations surfaced involiving R&B and former Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star, K.Michelle. K. Michelle and Memphitz used to be a couple and during past episodes of LHHA, the reality star made public allegations that her former mate, Memphitz, physically abused her during their relationship.

According to TMZ who reported on a past episode of the Vh1 reality show, the "V.S.O.P" singer exposed how she met a guy who gave her the dream music career, and soon after, "he changed." "It wasn't a bad relationship until one day he flipped, and he beat my ass," K. Michelle explained during the recorded episode. The allegations led to a very publicized back and forth between the LHHA star and the producer, who filed defamation charges against K. Michelle and Mona Scott-Young, the creator of the Love and Hip Hop franchise, which he ultimately lost.

The public feud took its toll on the marriage of Memphitz and Wright, who stated during an interview with Necole Bitchie that her husband was now "a different person" following the situation with K. Michelle, EUR shared. According to Madame Noire, the mother of Lil Wayne's oldest daughter, Regginae, stated, "What is going on with my husband, like I said when I spoke on it, is bigger than me," she explained. "[Memphitz] has been going through something for the last few years since the whole lawsuit thing against his ex [K. Michelle] and Viacom and it really took a toll on him and it caused him to be a different person."

Wright expressed how she believed K. Michelle had the bigger platform to tell her side of the story but, her husband did not. Memphitz tried to convince Wright to sign on to join the cast of LHHA to tell his side of the story, reclaim his name and get back on his feet but, she declined. "He wanted me to go on the show with him," Wright explained according to Madame Noir. "...The producer wanted me on the show but that's not really my thing and I was like 'No, we're newlyweds. And we have kids.'" Wright felt the show promoted too much drama and didn't really represent who she is as a woman.

Now she has agreed to do another show, Untying The Knot, which shows couples on the verge of divorce how to handle their breakups, so one can assume that she feels it will allow her to be herself. The new season premieres Nov 11 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
