Chief Keef may be known for his often violent persona, but the Chicago rapper has decided to use his celebrity for some good. Being that he is a father himself, this particular incident probably touched home.
Sosa recently revealed that he would be covering the funeral expenses for a 2-year-old beat to death by her father.
He posted a photo of the toddler, Jakariah Patterson, on his Instagram along with the caption, "RIP TO JAKARIAH PATTERSON BEAT TO DEATH BY. TELL THE NEWS TO REPORT THIS IM PAYING FOR THE FUNERAL."
According to the Chicago Tribune, Jeremiah L. Thompson, 21, became upset with the tot when she soiled herself. She was not toilet trained.
Officials say Thompson was watching the young girl while his girlfriend was out working.
Vibe magazine reports that Patterson was forcefully struck causing her head to hit the toilet and floor.
It has been reported that he then forced the toddler to sit in her own waste and continued to strike her numerous times in the back and stomach.
A March 20 autopsy determined Patterson died of multiple blunt force injuries from child abuse, and her death was ruled a homicide.
Thompson is currently being held without bail after being charged with her killing.
Chief Keef recently made headlines after being linked to a Chicago shooting. As previously reported, Sosa was not the shooter; rather, he was just present when the shots were fired.
The rapper was also recently arrested for a DUI.
