This past week saw a lot of great collaborations between artists, resulting in some of the best songs of the year. Easily the biggest example of this trend was "Strong," a new duet between former boyfriend and girlfriend Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. Go ahead and talk about some dating rumors or whatever you want, we're just excited to share this great new pop hit with you today. Check it out right here!
Another great (probably much more important in the bigger picture of music) collaboration teamed iconic hip-hop artist Nas and R&B heartthrob Usher on "Chains." Taking on the tough issues of police brutality and racism, this song is a reminder of how big performers can still get a message across. We all love when Diplo and MØ make music together, so we were definitely into their release this week: "Kamikaze." This song is a great reminder of why they keep working together. Check it out right here!
Our final collaboration that we're sharing with you is the new Courtney Barnett song, "Boxing Day Blues," which is part of Third Man Records' Blue Series. Barnett and Jack White worked on this song and her recent "Shivers" cover, making us hope more teamwork is in the future for these two songwriters. Check out this new track right here:
