According to XXL, rapper The Game told reporters that he believes Lamar Odom should be rehabbed, trained, and then put on the roster for the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2015 NBA season. Responding to a question regarding Lamar's viability on the court, The Game told TMZ, "Let me tell you what I think should happen... I think they should get Lamar better. Right, rehab a little bit. Then they should throw him in the gym. And they'll be-- The Lakers, Los Angeles, and Kobe Bryant, will be thorough as ever. If they put Lamar on this year Laker team."

Displaying complete confidence in the former Sixth Man of the year, The Game went on to say, "From all that he's been through, to really show Los Angeles support, to really show how someody almost like died and came back and give him a shot to be on the Lakers..."

This advice is particularly salient from the rapper, who himself was unfortunately in a coma and came back to achieve incredible prominence in the hip-hop Industry. Regarding his unlikely rise, The Game explained, "Take it from someone...who's got LA on [his] face. Take it from somebody who was in a coma, and who woke up from a coma and made something of themselves...I was in a coma, dude, for seven days and came back and became one of the best rappers in the world." He ended his comments saying, "Put Lamar on the Lakers, or I don't want to see a game."

Odom is continuing his recovery from a near-fatal coma brought on by kidney failure. He has recieved support from celebrities, athletes, rappers, and others as he recovers. We'll be sure to keep you posted on Odom's recovery.
