Bastian Schweinsteiger is easily one of the most recognizable and popular German footballers who has a World Cup victory to his name along with plenty of other titles, but an alleged use of his likeness has him looking at legal action rather than on-field play! The Manchester United midfielder has issued a lawsuit against Chinese toy company DiD Corporation over a Nazi action figure named "Bastian" that looks a lot like the player. Check it out below.

"We think that all Germans look like that. Bastian is also a very common name in Germany," a spokesperson for the toy company said this week in response to the controversy, according to UPROXX. "It is a complete coincidence that the figure 'Bastian' looks like Schweinsteiger."

It's never a good idea to generalize an entire country, but DiD apparently doesn't care about that! Though Schweinsteiger is certainly German and looks so, a number of his German teammates do not look anything like him.

It looks like Schweinsteiger certainly has a solid case on his hands. Perhaps the company will pull the Nazi doll from production after this scandal. That's too bad for Nazi action figure collectors, don't you think?
