Kelsea Ballerini has had a fairly remarkable start to her career with her No. 1 country hit, "Love Me Like You Mean It," and a pair of nominations at this year's upcoming CMA Awards. Now, she's looking to follow it up with her flirty new single and music video for "Dibs" off her debut album, The First Time.

The music video mixes in shots of her having fun with some boys at a fair and then commanding the stage on her latest tour.

"Dibs" has been received well, landing at No. 19 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Perhaps this new music video will give the song the boost it needs to push it to the next level.

In the video, we see shots of Ballerini playing carnival games, eating some county fair food, riding on the scrambler and crashing into her date in a round of bumper cars. The lyrics were already pretty sassy as she sings about marking her man with a lipstick kiss on the cheek, but the music video adds the visual element to the song as she parades around the fair grounds with a pair of guys by her side.

"I'm so weird and quirky, and painfully awkward sometimes," Ballerini told Rolling Stone Country. "I tell people, 'I sing these songs not because I'm confident but because I have to remind myself to be.' That's why it's cool for me to sing them, because it's not like a preaching thing - I have to remind me."

Ballerini concluded her tour alongside fellow country act Dan + Shay on their Just The Right Kind of Crazy tour. She'll head to Nashville for the CMA Awards on Nov. 4, where she is nominated among a crowded and competitive field for both Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
