Liverpool FC's new manager, Jurgen Klopp, could give fans and supporters something they never thought they'd see ever again: Steven Gerrard! According to The Liverpool Echo, Klopp has spoken with Gerrard over the phone since taking over for the sacked Brendan Rodgers last month. So far, the news is that the 35-year-old will indeed return to Liverpool, but for only a short period of time. From November until mid-January, when he has to return to LA for his MLS duties, Gerrard will train with his former club in order to bring them together and raise the bar for a better Premier League run.

In other words, he most likely won't be playing for Liverpool this season. According to The Independent, LA isn't looking to loan Gerrard after having dealt with David Beckham's previous loan to Milan during his five-year stint in the MLS. The possibility could pop up again though, considering his Galaxy contract is up in about a year.

Fans will see the effects of Gerrard's presence at training over the next month-and-a-half, but don't count on seeing him on his home field any time soon. Hopefully he can turn things around for his former team and maybe even see some more success in LA once he returns.
