Carly Rae Jepsen's "Run Away With Me" might be one of the catchiest pop tunes of the year, and Brooklyn indie rockers Ra Ra Riot must agree as the band's been covering the tune at several stops along its tour.

Ra Ra Riot made their homecoming last night at Brooklyn's Baby's All Right, where some fans caught the cover on their phones and shared it with the world. The band has some killer hooks to its songs much like the glimmering top 40 pop world that Jepsen hails from, so it might not be as strange of a pairing as fans would think on the surface.

We're only treated to short clips of the band's performance via Twitter and Instagram, but you can still tell that the show was an absolute party. Frontman Wes Miles endearingly strained his voice to get up to some of the higher notes on the chorus as the rest of the band provided some great backing vocals.

Stereogum notes that the band played this cover on this fall tour just a few nights prior at Boot & Saddle in Philadelphia. The group has also been testing out some new original songs on the tour, which means fans might be getting the follow-up to 2013's Beta Watch sooner than they thought.

Watch some of the fan clips below.

The band only has two more shows scheduled for this year according to the official website. The first is tonight (Nov. 4) in Allston, Mass., and they finish the fall tour off in Kingston, N.Y.

“Run Away With Me” might not have received as much chart attention as the video for “I Really Like You,” starring Tom Hanks, but it’s got a pop hook that simply won’t get out of your head. Listen to the original below.
