Santigold, the solo project of Santi White, has announced a third full-length studio album, entitled 99 Cents. The Philly-based electronic singer-songwriter and producer broke the news and shared the album's first single, "Can't Get Enough of Myself," by calling in to Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show. Listen to "Can't Get Enough of Myself" via Lowe's show here.

As Rolling Stone points out, the track is produced by Patrik Berger, known for his production work with Robyn, Lana Del Rey and Charli XCX. On Lowe's show, Santigold attributes the reggae-influenced rhythm to Berger's production. The meter is certainly unique, but the sound is reminiscent of White's entire body of work, even hinting at her ska-punk beginnings as frontwoman for Stiffed back in the early 2000s. The artist herself describes the song as "upbeat," and it is.

In explaining the inspiration behind the new record's title on Lowe's show, White references the cover, which features the artist herself "basically in a bag shrink-wrapped with a bunch of items, random clutter from my life" with a 99-cent sticker on top. She said "everything is a product at this point, including people and relationships, and everything's about marketing products. So, I'm a product. Also, everything is undervalued, so I thought 99 cents is a good price for me and my life and all my hard work."

99 Cents follows 2012's critically acclaimed Master of My Make-Believe. A date is not yet set for the forthcoming LP's release.

As Spin points out, Santigold filmed a music video with Atlanta rapper ILoveMakonnen earlier this Fall, so while nothing is confirmed, fans can certainly hope for some sort of collaborative track from them in the near future.

This past summer, Santigold broke her relative silence with the thumping "Radio," which is featured on the original soundtrack of the film Paper Towns that came also came out this past summer. The soundtrack is worth noting in case you missed it, because it features songs from Vampire Weekend, The Mountain Goats, Galantis and Son Lux, just to name a few. Listen to "Radio" below.
