Banks has released a brand new single "Better" and video to go along with it. The new song comes just as Banks embarks on The Weeknd's The Madness Tour over the next month that will see the Goddess signer perform at some of the biggest arenas across North America.

"Better" channels all of the dark, pop-r&b crossover appeal that she has put out in some of her previous works. It has a more polished sheen to it with strong, airy and dark production that are woven right into the vocals that are at times just Banks crooning and become another element of the melody. Purchase "Better" on iTunes via Harvest Records.

Watch the video below but it is a tad NSFW. It features a couple people naked rolling around on the ground, including one totally covered in gold leaf from head to toe.

"Better" is the first single to emerge from Banks since she released her debut album Goddess in September 2014. She broke through with her track "Beggin For Thread," which became a massive hit online and enjoyed some commercial success in the United States and abroad.

She spoke about the new song with Zane Lowe and said "Better" is a teaser of what to expect from her upcoming album, which she hopes will be out sometime early next year. Listen to the interview here
