DMV rapper Goldlink has released his debut album And After That, We Didn't Talk a full week ahead of schedule. Out now via Los Angeles-based music collective and label Soulection, the 11-track LP is largely devoid of features, but has a few from Masego, demotaped and more.

The LP features production from a wide variety of different acts like Galimatias, Medasin, Tom Misch and longtime collaborator Louie Lastic. It will feature vocals from fellow DMV artist April George.

Goldlink made his name collaborating with eclectic producers like Kaytranada and Sango, lending himself to a strong crossover between hip-hop and r&b with a touch of electronic. He has been tabbed by Rick Rubin as one to watch and much of this album was recorded in the famed producer's abode.

And After That, We Didn't Talk draws on the various influences in Goldlink's Rolodex with some jazzier productions, some deeper, r&b productions and more upbeat instrumentals underneath his intelligent smooth flow.

This is the debut official full-length from Goldlink. He burst onto the scene with his 2014 mixtape God Complex that

Soulection has been a steady place of inspiration and support for Goldlink during his young, yet very promising career.

And After That, We Didn't Talk is out now and can be streamed on Spotify or picked up on iTunes here.
