Word on the Web is production for the upcoming Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me is set to begin production in Georgia. According to HipHopDX, the film is scheduled to go into production in December.

The site also reports that a listing appears on the state's Entertainment Help Wanted Hotline saying that production company Morgan Creek is taking resumes for all crew positions. Just last week, the production company was sued by Emmett Furla Oasis for breach of contract after Morgan Creek allegedly created a new budget, met with distributors and chose a lead actor without its consent. Morgan Creek reportedly gave Emmett Furla the authority to approve all production decisions and denies that the role of Tupac has been cast.

Earlier this year, Marcc Rose portrayed the “California Love” rapper in the N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton. As previously reported, Rose and director John Singleton are also working on a film about the late rapper’s life. Rose shared the big news during an interview with Yahoo! Movies.

"Me and John Singleton are trying to brainstorm and form together a proper biopic for him," the 23-year-old actor said. "Hopefully if everything works out we can make it work."

It turns out that Rose was also a part of the first Tupac movie that Singleton was involved in but they both ended up cutting ties with the project back in April.

"When Singleton exited so did I," he said. "If the rights to the biopic are returned to Pac's mom, Afeni Shakur, John Singleton and I will be reassociated with it."

Upon his departure from the film, Singleton noted a lack of respect for Tupac's legacy as his reason for parting ways with his Morgan Creek counterparts.

Singleton, a known Tupac admirer, directed the 1993 film Poetic Justice, which starred the late rapper alongside Janet Jackson.

Aside from Singleton's film, Daz Dillinger has been working on a follow-up to Straight Outta Compton that will be centered on Tupac and Snoop Dogg's rise to fame on Death Row Records.
