Lorde and Sam Smith joined Disclosure for the Elizabeth Banks hosted episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) this past Saturday (Nov. 14). Lorde and Smith additionally appeared on the duo's new LP Caracal and were on SNL to perform songs from the album. During the episode, the performers additionally paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks that had occurred in Paris the night before (Nov. 13).

Smith sang "Omen" from their Caracal album with Disclosure. In the past Smith and Disclosure had collaborated on the hit song "Latch." Smith and the two Lawrence siblings were joined by a quartet of backing singers as well as tables chock full of musical equipment for their performances.

The live show with Lorde was actually the first time that she had ever performed their collaboration, "Magnets," live. During the show, the stage lit up with the French flag and later on in the night the entire SNL set stood silent in a touching nod to the city.

Next week, Adele is slated to perform on Saturday Night Live with host Matthew McConaughey on this upcoming Saturday (November 21). The performance on SNL will follow the release of her new album 25, which has been highly anticipated and largely talked about in the music industry.

Adele has been a frequent flier on the popular late-night TV show and also appeared on SNL during its 24th season. She also did support work for her debut album 19 with Josh Brolin back in 2008 shortly after its release.

Saturday Night Live shows no signs of slowing down for its 41st season, which began on Oct. 3 and has already seen the likes of Miley Cyrus, The Weekend and Demi Lovato. There was also a widely-publicized performance with controversial host Donald Trump and musical guest Sia a week prior to the Disclosure episode.
