Are Kanye West and Jay Z reforming The Throne for another joint album and tour? No, or at least not right at this moment. But we've got another super tour to keep your hopes alive: According to DJ Paul of Da Mafia 6ix (previously known as Three 6 Mafia), that collective will hit the road with the Insane Clown Posse later during 2014.

It's a difficult pairing to understand for those unfamiliar with the full discography of Three 6, but the Memphis-based Mafia widely built its name around the "horrorcore" scene, a hip-hop genre that places emphasis on more grotesque and violent plot points, and also a genre that the Insane Clown Posse is seen as the top of.

"We're dropping an album in August with Insane Clown Posse," DJ Paul said. "Then we're supposed to start the tour around August as well to promote the album."

There's no word from ICP on whether the rumors of a collaboration album are true, but it does sound in line with something they'd do. Da Mafia 6ix is scheduled to perform alongside ICP at its annual festival, Gathering of The Juggalos, at Thornville, OH from July 23 until July 26.

The rest of the lineup is pretty par for the course by Gathering standards. Tech N9ne, the Kottomouth Kings, Hopsin and others will be among the headliners at the fifteenth anniversary of the festival. Perhaps the most interesting news about the festival and Juggalo culture as a whole is the existence of a new cryptocurrency that's meant for Insane Clown Posse fans only. According to Papa Nutt, the creator of JuggaloCoin, the currency is meant to be used at the Gathering and at Juggalo-related websites as to "keep it in the family."
