French future house producer Tchami has been quiet in 2015, releasing only two originals, but he is gearing up to launch his most ambitious venture yet. The "After Life" producer is now expanding beyond the studio and the DJ booth into the business world by launching a new record titled Confession.

Speaking to Billboard, Tchami explained his thought process behind starting the new venture.

"I want to help create a bigger picture for a song, an EP or any form of musical project that Confession will be involved with," says Tchami. "I also love the idea of being more independent and giving artists, including myself, another option to release music."

The Parisian understands that there is a lot of work ahead of him to properly manage the infrastructure, A&R and market a label, however he believes he is up to the challenge. These are "responsibilities that I am not afraid to take," remarks Tchami.

The label will be home to not just his own music, but to that of others. The imprint's debut single will be ANGELZ "Hey Girl" set for release on Nov. 18. The following release will be "Notorious" by French producer Malaa, who has seen heavy support of late by his fellow countryman like DJ Snake, Mercer and Tchami.

Tchami has teased the first five records set for release on Confession in a short mini mix you can hear below.

Tchami will have his hands full with Confession, but there is still new music on the horizon for the Frenchman. The promised After Life EP that was expected to arrive at some point in 2015 has been pushed back to 2016.
