The 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards may be a year away, but tickets for the event are already gone, gone, gone! The ACM said it took only 18 minutes to sell all 70,000 tickets to the 50th anniversary event. Academy CEO Bob Romeo said, "This sale was unprecedented and far exceeded our expectations. We're working hard to plan more events to accommodate as many fans as we can."

Pre-sale tickets for both the ACM Party for a Cause: 50 Years of Music & Memories and the awards show went on sale on April 10th at 10 a.m. By 10:18 a.m., both venues were sold out.

ACM officials said that additional tickets may become available as the events themselves become finalized if there is more space available at the venues (Globe Life Park in Arlington and AT&T Stadium). Priority for any additional seating will be given to ACM A-list fans.
