Vince Staples has been one of the more exciting revelations in hip-hop over the past 12-18 months. The outgoing and humorous rapper from Long Beach, California released his debut album Summertime '06 back in June and has been doing various bits of promo and touring on the back of it. He has now announced a brand new tour titled the Circa '06 Tour that will bring the rapper to various concert halls across North America.
Staples shared the dates on Twitter. The poster has some of his special brand of humor, saying "Vince Staples is touring North America with his album Summertime '06. Bring your dancing shoes and don't call the police."
The 11-date tour will kick off next month on Dec. 2 in Philadelphia at Union Transfer and over the next two weeks hit cities like Washington D.C, Boston, Chicago, Iowa City, Minneapolis, Toronto and Brooklyn. The last time he was in Brooklyn for Northside Festival he had fun with the crowd making fun of the gentrification that has occurred and calling out everyone who wasn't actually from Brooklyn, notably those from Long Island.
