Australian born, Berlin-based trance and progressive house producer, DJ Jaytech, has released his brand new album Awakening out on his own label Positronic Digital. Born James Cayzer, Awakening is the follow up to the "Code Red" DJ's first album Multiverse, which was released on his former label home Anjunabeats.

The new album comes in at 11 tracks total and has a fair amount of features from other producers, bands and singers. It provides the diverse soundscapes that Jaytech is known to bring to his various productions. There is a bit of everything from Jaytech. It has more melodic, progressive tracks records, lie the title track, more pop-oriented songs that will be rinsed out later in a forthcoming club EP and softer, trance tracks that vary from straight instrumentals to uplifting vocal cuts.

He also changes up the underlying bedrock of songs with some 2-step, bass influenced grooves and harder electro saws. Awakening continues the tradition of closing out his albums with a downtempo track.

This is the first album from Jaytech in three years and comes on a Wednesday, ignoring all of the hype of Black Friday and the new universal release date.
