The always controversial Republican candidate Donald Trump is now apparently using the Skyfall soundtrack theme sung by Adele for his campaign.

According to The New York Times, Trump used the Bond movie theme at a rally for his campaign in Ohio this past Monday (Nov. 23). The rally also garnered some classic Trump commentary such as "If it doesn't work, they deserve it anyway," in regards to supporting waterboarding. Additional songs played at the rally were "Hey Jude" by The Beatles, "Rocket Man" by Elton John, and "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister. He has also used some selections by R.E.M in his campaign rallies.

As reported by Billboard, R.E.M is not happy about it and have already asked Trump to stop playing their music during his campaign. Other artists may potentially follow suit, especially Adele as it is on constant rotation according to tweets.

The singer has enjoyed great success with the release of her latest album 25, having already sold 3 million copies in the U.S. first week of sales. Adele has officially topped all record first week sales, beating out Britney Spears and N'Sync's scores of 1.3 million and 2.42 million the week of release in the U.S., which has a notoriously tough music industry.

Her singles "Hello" and "When We Were Young" have also racked up an impressive amount of Youtube plays, with half 1 billion and 28 million views a surprisingly short time after their release. Her other videos, including performances on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon have also garnered an impressive amount of views. Perhaps Trump has latched onto something and officially joined the Adele craze.
