Family and friends of those who lost their lives at this year's SXSW festival are still grappling with the after effects of the tragic events. It has recently been reported that the hit-and-run suspect has received more charges.

According to the Austin-American Statesman, officials have added four more charges for Rashad Charjuan Owens. The charges stem from injuries such as scratches and a fractured neck.

The site says that Owens now faces four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The new charges were filed by police on Friday (April 18).

Jail records show that the additional charges added $500,000 to Owens' $5 million in bail.

Owens also faces a charge of capital murder for the deaths of Jamie West, 27, and Steven Craenmehr, 35.

West and Craenmehr both died at the scene of the crash.

Two others, DeAndre Tatum, 18, and Sandy Le, 26, also died as a result of the crash. They died at the hospital after the incident.

Prosecutors have not said if they plan to pursue additional murder charges for their deaths.

The Austin Community Foundation is still accepting donations for those affected by the accident.

As previously reported, donations will help cover medical bills, travel expenses and more for victims.

The ACF website says, "The SXSW Cares Fund was created to help people affected by the tragic events of March 13, 2014, and future possible events."
