Chief Keef has faced label issues before, but now it appears those problems are starting to rare its head once more. Sosa has been reportedly suspended from his deal with FilmOnTV because of who he is associated with and some misunderstandings between his team and the label.

Speaking to Vlad TV, FilmOnTV CEO Alki David explains why they felt the need to suspended Keef's contract.

"Chief Keef's contract was suspended 2 weeks ago because his management went off and did a tour without our approval. Not happy with the direction they are taking him."

He also believes that Sosa's management is limiting the rapper's growth and potential than what could be provided through the label.

"Same sh*t over and over," he says. "Limiting his appeal to a wider audience and I'm not saying he should sell out, just be more prolific."

These differences in musical direction can be bridged, but the main issue that led to the suspension two weeks ago appears to have been his video for "Let It Blow" with Las Vegas rapper D. Flores. The Glo Gang affiliate was recently charges with allegedly kidnapping and forcing a 15-year-old girl into prostitution. His bail is set at $250,000.

The deal became public in April, when Chief Keef announced that he had signed with FilmOn, a web streaming service that allows user to stream live television. It is the pet project of eccentric Greek billionaire Alki David and ran into some issues over the release of Bang 3, but the double album did eventually drop in August.

This is not the first time Chief Keef has had issues with his label. He was dropped by Interscope in 2014 as a result of his legal troubles at the time.
