We've heard a number of rumors regarding almost every player outside of the Barclays Premier League linked to transfers to get them to move to England, but there is some clear evidence about the latest speculation this week. While FC Barcelona has two of the three Ballon d'Or finalists that were announced on the shortlist earlier this week, the La Liga giants could lose them due to money troubles. Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. are two of the top footballers in the world (Crisitano Ronaldo is the other Ballon d'Or finalist), but financial issues are arising at their club. Will they move to the Premier League like so many other stars?

According to The Daily Mail, Barcelona is suffering from mounting financial troubles that will certainly limit the amount of money they can spend on transfers and extending contracts. If anything, selling the top players to interested Premier League teams would help these money issues, but we all know that's out of the question. It appears that changes are being made to avoid having to lose these stars.

Manchester City is allegedly ready to enter a bidding war for Messi (City is also apparently eying current Bayern Munich manager Josep "Pep" Guardiola), while Manchester United hasn't been shy about acquiring Neymar in the near future.

We recently reported on Neymar's own financial issues that are causing his family some grief, with his father revealing that he might have to leave Spain.

These stars aren't the only ones suspected of transfers, though. Earlier this week, we reported on the rumors that Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller is allegedly in the sights of Jose Mourinho and Chelsea FC.

We'll have to wait and see what happens when contracts come to an end and the transfer window opens.
