Given the tide of bad news that has surrounded Miley Cyrus' relationship with fiance Liam Hemsworth as of late, maybe the star admitting that she doesn't Google herself is a good thing.

Miley attributed her recent success partially to not caring what people were writing about her in a recent interview with BBC.

"People that probably fall off are the people obsessed with googling themselves and knowing what people are saying," Cyrus said. "If I knew what people are saying about me, I'd probably hate myself. I don't look at that kind of stuff."

Cyrus also delved into the transistion process between being Hannah Montana, Disney Channel star and her current public image as a hard-twerking adult.

"I worked for five years on something that was a character where I didn't really get to be completely the creative person that I wanted to be so at this point I did the work that I had to do," the "We Can't Stop" singer said. "I had to kinda make my money and do all that so now I don't have to worry about necessarily any of that. I can just make music because I love it."

What do you think of Cyrus' decision not to Google herself?
