Doomsday Arrives in New 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Extended Movie Trailer [WATCH]

The newest trailer for director Zack Snyder's highly anticipated DC Comics blockbuster, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered this week, giving us an extended look at star Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg and more. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman also shows up, just in time too because the iconic comic book villain Doomsday debuts in the 2016 film. This trailer certainly has us excited for the March 25 release date, so check it out below for more details and possible spoilers!

The two biggest superheroes in the DC universe go head-to-head in a battle of strength, morality and destruction, but the introduction of the eccentric Lex Luthor (Eisenberg) and his plot to destroy Superman make for some devastating results.

Dawn of Justice isn't just a cool title, it is the lead-in to the new franchise coming out of Warner's DC films, Justice League. This upcoming film is the beginning of a new era for movies, and the trailer certainly makes us believe that we're in for quite the ride.

As you can see, Michael Shannon's General Zod from Man of Steel is brought back in an interesting way. Doomsday arrives and the superheroes have to join forces.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis' most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.
