Scream Queens has delivered more laughs than shrieks of horror, so it's no wonder themed memes and GIFs have taken over social media featuring some of the show's main characters. Actress Emma Roberts, star of the hit CW series, opened up to Yahoo! about what makes the scenes so "GIF-worthy," as well as, which GIF her friends love to text her. See seven of Roberts' best Chanel moments from the show below!
For those unfamiliar with the teen horror series, Roberts plays co-president of Kappa Kappa Tau sorority, Chanel Oberlin. She serves as the leader to a group of minions, who are quick to fulfill any order. Known for her stylish outfits, hilarious one-liners, and sassy (often times offensive) personality, it doesn't take much for Chanel to take control of a scene.
The 24-year-old former Nickelodeon star revealed the entire cast noticed just how popular some of the scenes have become with fans and even try to guess which ones will end up as a GIF or meme while they're filming. Surprisingly enough, even the main characters of the show have trouble figuring out what fans will find the funniest.

"Yeah, it’s so funny about the memes because when we’re shooting the show, we always try to guess what’s going to get GIF’d and we can never guess," Roberts told Yahoo!. "Like some of the stuff we think is going to become a meme, it never does and then stuff that we’re just like, 'Oh that’s funny but whatever,' people become obsessed with."
Fans around the world aren't the only people who've become caught up in the Scream Queens hype. Her close friends and family members have their own playing around with graphics from the show as well.
While the GIFs and memes can come in handy for various situations in life, Roberts says there's one particular graphic that her loved ones constantly send her. Whenever she receives a text of herself doing the infamous pouty cry, Roberts can't help but laugh and feel insulted by her own face all at once. "I always laugh because my really good friends, and even my sister, will send them to me and it always kind of embarrasses me. Like sometimes I'll be having a conversation with my friends and if I'm annoying them, they'll send me a meme of me and I'm like, 'That's just rude.'"
