Most dads want to give their daughters the world; after all, daughters are their daddy's little princesses. Tyrese (Gibson) is no different from most fathers and even though he can't give his 8-year-old daughter Shayla the world, he recently came pretty close by giving her her very own island. His Christmas plans are over-the-top as well!

The R&B singer, who recently opened up the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards with a performance of his hit single, "Shame," revealed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that when it comes to his daughter, he's a big spender and buys her some really nice lavishing gifts. One of those gifts just so happens to be an island, People reports.

During the 2015 GQ's Men of the Year Party, the Black Rose singer spoke with ET about what he plans to get his daughter for Christmas. Gibson didn't want to reveal too much information during the interview because he said his 8-year-old tends to watch her dad on TV and he didn't want to spoil any surprises. But he did manage to reveal some of the past gifts that he got for his little girl. When asked, "what's the most lavish gift, or over-the-top gift" he'd ever given or received, the singer/actor gave a jaw dropping response.

"I just bought my daughter an island," he stated with a huge smile on his face. He didn't give too many details after that. In fact, he wouldn't even disclose the location of the island, but for an 8-year-old, having your own island is a huge step up from a day at Chuck E. Cheese's.

Tyrese was all smiles when speaking of his daughter during the interview, and continued through the evening in the same manner as he captured moments with friends who also attended the GQ event, and kept a smile on his face. One of those people just so happened to be his Baby Boy costar and long time friend Taraji P. Henson, who he referred to as "angel heart" in the cropped photo of the original, taken with other friends and shared on Instagram.
