Cue the drum roll please, because the official nominations for the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards have been revealed! On Wednesday (Dec. 9), Mom star Anna Faris and The Night Before star Anthony Mackie announced the enviable 2016 nomination list at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California. Expect SAG nods for Trumbo, Game of Thrones, Carol, Homeland, and many more!

Trumbo leads the pack with three nominations including "Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture," "Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role," and "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Leading Role." The Jay Roach-directed film tells the story of successful screenwriter Dalton Trumbo and other prominent figures who were ostracized in Hollywood due to their political beliefs.

For those unfamiliar with the ceremony, the SAG Awards recognize actors and actresses for their work in both film and television. Not only are the accolades given to actors, but part of the decision process for the nominations and winners is also executed by the actors.

Special recognition will be given to iconic comedian and writer, Carol Burnett. The 82-year-old actress, best known for her long-running variety TV show (11 years), The Carol Burnett Show, will be honored with a "Lifetime Achievement Award."

There's still time for SAG-AFTRA member to cast their last minute ballads. Final voting will commence on Wednesday (Dec. 16) and will conclude on Friday (Jan. 29).

On Saturday (Jan. 30), the 2016 SAG Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers will also have the opportunity to stream the event via sagawards.tntdrama.com and truTV.com.
