Bobby Shmurda's (Ackquille Pollard) day in court Thursday (Dec. 3) came and went, and it seemed as though his attempt to post bail had been denied by a judge for the fifth time. However, new reports indicate that the "Hot N*gga" rapper's application for bond was retracted by his lawyers.

It seemed as though the Brooklyn-based rapper could possibly have the chance to go free after his legal team allegedly devised an iron clad document outlining where the funds would come from in entirety to post the rapper's bail. All roads pointed to the rapper potentially gaining his freedom after spending 11 months behind bars. However, according to Bossip it was Shmurda's attorney, Alex Spiro who requested that the bond application should be retracted.

When Spiro and Shmurda went before the judge, the attorney asked that the application be removed for reason unbeknownst to the public. When Judge James Burke asked Shmurda's attorney, "Mr. Spiro, what is your current position on the surety exam and review?" Spiro replied, "Yes your honor, we are not moving forward with the surety hearing at this time."

In addition to Spiro withdrawing the application, terms of Shmurda's bail condition have been changed as well. Now, the rapper can now only post bail with the use of cash or a surety bond. Although it was initially reported that Shmurda's aunt would be putting her homes up in New York as the collateral, perhaps some things have changed on the financial front. Shmurda is set to begin trial Jan. 11, 2016.
