Coldplay's new album A Head Full of Dreams was released on Friday (Dec. 4), but if you wanted to listen to it, you had to pay. The Super Bowl 50 halftime performers withheld the record from streaming services such as Spotify that had a free option, but that's all due to change later this week.

A Head Full of Dreams is due to arrive on Spotify on Friday, Dec. 11, Billboard reports, just one week after its initial release.

Spotify also announced that the record will be forthcoming on Coldplay's artist page. "Coldplay's new album A Head Full of Dreams will be available here from Friday 11th December. Come back then to listen," a banner reads at the top of the page.

Until then, two of the album's tracks "Adventure of a Lifetime" and "Everglow" are streaming on Spotify.

Coldplay's initial decision to hold back A Head Full of Dreams from Spotify (while streaming it on pay-only services such as TIDAL and Apple Music) should have been no surprise for fans of the British rock band. Coldplay's last album, 2014's Ghost Stories, was similarly not placed on Spotify until four months after its initial release, making the one week delay for A Head Full of Dreams pale in comparison.

If waiting two months to watch Coldplay perform at the Super Bowl or just three more days to stream A Head Full of Dreams feels like too long to wait, there's a new live Coldplay performance online. On Monday night (Dec. 7), the band performed their new album's title track on The Late Late Show with James Corden, packing in tons of color and energy into a snappy four minutes.
