Earlier this week, Justin Bieber used his immense fame and popularity to attempt to track down the subject of a photo he enjoyed on Instagram. Posting a photo of a beautiful young girl to his social media account, Bieber apparently wasn't too "Sorry" about admitting this was his crush. Thanks to the powers of Instagram, we learned that the girl is known as Cindy Kimberly, but, unfortunately, is not too happy about the attentions she's getting from Beliebers and haters leaving comments on her photos.

Posting the simple question, "OMG who is this!![?]" to Instagram on Tues. Dec 8, Bieber inadvertently sent his fans on a social media scavenger hunt to track down the girl that took this selfie. Thanks to the sleuthing fans, her account was tracked down and her name was revealed.

 Omg who is this!!

Once Cindy Kimberly was found by the Beliebers, the comments started to pile up on a number of her recent photos. As you can imagine, they range from, "Hey, Justin Bieber is looking for you," or something of the like, to pretty harsh comments (via UPROXX). We're used to seeing this type of behavior from fans of pop stars, fueled by jealousy and immaturity, really.

This was Cindy Kimberly's real account, so her sudden rise in celebrity was a bit shocking to say the least. Taking to Instagram to finally address the comments and attention, the selfie beauty wanted to set everyone straight (via Hollywood Life).

She wrote: "[S]o do not know how to deal with this but I only have instagram and tumblr so whatever other stuff people are finding is fake (I did use to have a twitter account but I deactivated)" [SIC]

This unwanted attention might not cease for a while, but maybe Cindy and Justin will meet as a result of this strange situation!
