Most of you are looking forward to the busy end of the year season with the numerous parties and events that it brings, but festivals and promoters already have their sights on next year. One such festival is LEVITATION, the newly rebranded Austin Psych Fest, which has unveiled its 2016 lineup. Among those who top the bill are Caribou, Nicolas Jaar, Animal Collective, Sleep and Brian Wilson who will play The Beach Boys' iconic 1966 LP Pet Boys in full.

Also included on the diverse lineup that calls upon artists from r&b, electronic, hip-hop and rock are Onehtrix Point Never, Allas Ah, Twin Peaks, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Boris, Thurson Moore Band, Woods, Slowdive, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ty Segall, The Black Angels, Fantasmes, Shabazz Palaces, La Luz and many others.

The festival changed its name, but the spirit in its bookings have remained the same with more eclectic artists who will build a more relaxed and psychedelic vibe in their sets as opposed to the in-your-face type of sound that can be expected at most festivals.

Entering its eighth year, LEVITATION looks to build on past success and the booking of Brian Wilson hopes to create headlines and a special festival moment.

LEVITATION will take place from April 29 to May 1 at Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas. It is another one of the many festivals in Austin that has managed to grow and thrive around the city's thriving arts and music scene, punctuated by SXSW in March.

There are still more names who will be announced.

Weekend passes begin at $165 and are on sale via the festival's website.
