As it appears, A$AP Rocky and Juicy J, who worked with Rocky on Long.Last.A$AP, are in the studio together. Juicy J even went as far as to hint that the two might release a collaboration album in the near future.

According to AllHipHop, Juicy J posted a photo on Instagram of the two in the studio, insinuating a collaboration may materialize in the future. In the caption, Juicy wrote, "who wanna see @asaprocky & @juicyj album #7am still up working #trippyn***azmakehitz."

Juicy J acted as the executive producer for ASAP's sophomore album, which represented a notable stylistic shift from his debut, Live.Love.A$AP. Rocky's debut feature hazy, languid beats that let listeners experience Rocky's hedonistic lifestyle through his music. Rocky chose to amalgamate the promethazine dripped, chopped and screwed sound of Houston, with the hard-hitting, braggadocios style of his native Harlem. As he raps, "Don't remember me/ as a wannabe/ New Orleans n***a/ slash Tennessee lean sippin n***a nah/ Influenced by Houston hear it in my music/ trill n***a to the truest/show you how to do this!"

If the collaboration does materialize, Rocky will likely try to push his style and message to further heights. He told Vulture, I strive for perfection, but I'm not perfect. But what I can say is my morals are totally different than any other 24-year-old rapper my age now. I look at life totally different. A whole other aspect. I have different views and morals on life in general. And opinions." These views and goals will likely manifest in whatever new material Rocky chooses to release. It is clear that Rocky is a motivated, ambitious, and forward-thinking artist who will continue to surprise us throughout his career.
