Kaskade may be known for his own work as a DJ and producer, but the U.S. dance music veteran has started to build a small, but productive label under his careful tutelage. It has released records from the likes of AutoErotique, Henrix, Digital Lab, Fairchild and New York City producer, CID. Now the "She Wants The D" producer is making his solo debut on the label with a brand new song that will have you go a little something "Like This."
Designed for the dancefloor, "Like This" is another big single from the New Yorker who has managed to find his niche in between the festival main stage and a dark, dingy 100 person club. "Like This" continues his recent winning streak in 2015 with tracks like "Love Is Blind," his "Make Me Feel Better" remix with Don Diablo and "Us" alongside label don Kaskade.
He expertly crafts a dancefloor filler with mass appeal grounded in a jogging bass line and bouncing piano that ebb and flow throughout the tune. Something that has become used quite often in his songs, vocal chops help provide some melodic balance to "Like This" as it crescendos with a "hit it."
This is surprisingly CID's first release on the label. He was featured on Kaskade's recent album Automatic as the co-producer of their track "Us." He joined Kaskade on his album tour in October, including a stop at Pier 94 in New York City, but never released a single on the label until now.
