Christmas time has come early for Ariana Grande fans. Just a few days after she started teasing the release of new music and hours after the new tunes would be part of a six-song holiday EP, her new album Christmas & Chill has arrived online.
The song new EP takes less of a traditional approach to Christmas music and instead blends together Grande's R&B roots with a few jingle bells and holiday and winter themed lyrics for good mentor. Songs like "True Love" almost sound like they could be a cut from her forthcoming third studio album Moonlight, if it weren't for lines about Christmas lists and Santa Claus.
Other songs, such as "Winter Things," talk about other festive things surrounding the coldest months of the year, including snuggling by the fire, ice skating and spending time with your loved one.

Christmas & Chill isn't the first holiday music that Grande has released. In 2013, she rolled out her first winter EP, Christmas Kisses, which featured two original songs and covers of "Last Christmas" and "Santa Baby" with Liz Gilles. Last year, Grande rolled out another new Christmas song "Santa Tell Me."
This new six-song EP will tide Grande fans over until the new year, when she is expected to release her third studio album Moonlight. That album is currently being led by the single "Focus."
