Star Wars: The Force Awakens is currently in theaters and breaking records, but fans of the popular film franchise are already thinking about its 2017 sequel, Episode VIII. One adamant fan of the J.J. Abrams movie is Against Me! lead singer Laura Jane Grace, who has taken to Instagram and Twitter to talk about Episode VII, and maybe inadvertently started a fan movement to get her cast in the next chapter of the "Galaxy Far, Far Away." Considering the fact that Grace is a transgender woman, casting her in the next Star Wars project would be a pretty big deal for the community. Taking the hint, fans of the singer officially started a petition to get the process of casting Laura Jane Grace in the film. The goal of 7,000 signatures is is sure to be met soon. Grace tweeted out the link to the petition, so we're sure by the time you're reading this, she could already be in the movie.
