Yesterday we shared a preview of an audio clip from The Wu-Tang Clan's "secret" album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. We reported that the track came from Ghostface Killah and featured vocals from who was believed to be Cher. Now Cher's people have come forward to confirm the collaboration.

A representative for Cher told Rolling Stone, "She recorded her parts separately, so I don't believe there was direct interaction."

A clip of the track was originally posted by Forbes's writer Zack O'Malley Greenberg, who traveled to Marrakesh, Morocco to "become the first civilian" to hear the one-of-a-kind album. He spoke with the album's producer, Tarik "Cilvaringz" Azzougarh, who played one of the songs on camera. At the end of the track, Cher sings, "Wu-Tang, baby. They rock the world."

As Rolling Stone points out, Cher's appearance on the album has been "hiding in plain sight" since at least March. The album's website notes that it "includes special guest appearances by Bonnie Jo Mason," a pseudonym Cher used on her first single without Sonny Bono in 1964.

As previously reported, the album will not see a traditional release. Instead, only one copy will be sold to the highest bidder after it is toured through museums and galleries. RZA claims that they've already received a $5 million bid.
