Much to many people's surprise, Rae Sremmurd has become quite the hit! The brotherly duo's fanbase grew overnight after releasing their singles, "No Flex Zone," and "No Type." Two years into their musical career with the debut album, Sremmlife, and multiple collaborations, the group wanted to give back to their hometown. So what do they do? They decided to host the first hip-hop festival in Tupelo to show their appreciation.

After traveling the world, the Tupelo natives realized that they wanted to put together the same type of festival at home. So they created Sremm Fest. The rappers had Yo Gotti, K Camp and Dej Loaf hit the stage along with themselves and as you guessed it: the show went really well! Rae Sremmurd performed their hit tracks, "No Flex Zone," "No Type" and the most recent, "Come Get Her."

Since being discovered in 2013 by Mike WiLL Made-It, the duo has been doing nothing but working. Some people, like Ebro from Hot 97, aren't fans of the rappers, though. Ebro recently accused them of not writing their own rhymes and also stated that they couldn't freestyle. The two responded with a 20-minute diss freestyle. Mike WiLL Made-It also responded to Ebro's claims and Pusha T defended the group in a recent interview with Ebro, stating, "I don't know man, I sort of feel like you took their ranking a bit too personal." Pusha goes on to say, "They make songs that I can't make, literally. I wouldn't make those songs, but I know how to enjoy their music fully... They make records that work on the radio. A lot of times records that work on the radio have a level of corniness to me. I don't feel like their records are corny."

Regardless if Ebro and others are not fans, the group will continue to make music. Rae Sremmurd is wrapping up their second album, SremmLife 2, and it will include features from Rihanna, Migos and more.
