Congrats to Zac and Shelly Brown!

On Monday, May 5, 2014, their first son, Alexander Frost Brown, was born! The couple and parents of four girls had planned a home birth with a midwife, but as a precaution, Shelly was transferred to the Atlanta Medical Center. Though Dr. Bootstaylor was there working with midwife Debbie Schneider, the Browns were still able to have the natural birth that they wanted.

Alexander entered the world at 11lbs, 7oz. and was 22.5 inches long! Since Zac shared that they were going to keep going until they had a boy back in 2011 when Joni was born, one can imagine that Shelly must be pretty relieved. (11 pounds! Can you say "ouch?" Having been through natural childbirth myself, this is one person who can! It's a good thing that God takes the excruciating part of the natural delivery out of your mind the moment you hold your new baby, otherwise, there would be a lot of one child families!)

Last December, Nashville Gab reported that Zac was sticking to his intentions - done after one son - and since the happy couple knew they had a boy on the way, was ready to go for the snip, clip, burn procedure. He told Country Vibe, "I’m done. I’m ready, I’ll go under the knife whenever the time will allow now."

The beautiful family is now complete with Zac and Shelly being parents to Justice, 7, Lucy, 5½, Georgia Sloan, 4½, Joni Mason, 3, and Alexander Frost.
