We all know Aretha Franklin can sing. She has always had a beautiful voice and her performances have always been amazing. But it seems that President Barack Obama wasn't quite hip to the type of performance Franklin could put on. During the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors, Franklin came to the stage to perform a rare piano rendition of her song, "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman." The performance brought Obama to tears.

Franklin, a 1994 Kennedy Center honoree, performed "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" in honor of Carol King. King, a 2015 honoree, co-wrote the the track with Franklin. During her performance, Obama can be seen wiping away tears.

There were also performances from the following:

Sara Bareilles -- "You've Got a Friend"

James Taylor -- "Up on the Roof"

Janelle Monae -- "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" & "One Fine Day"

Back in July, when the honorees were announced, King released a statement:

"How amazing to be named a Kennedy Center honoree among such esteemed company. I'm humbled and grateful to accept. I've been very lucky to able to do the work I love for so many years. And it's even more rewarding to know that what I do has touched the lives of so many people."

Star Wars creator, George Lucas, actress and singer, Rita Moreno, classical conductor, Seiji Ozawa and actress, Cicely Tyson were also honored during the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors. Rock band, The Eagles, were due to receive an honor as well but Glen Frey had to receive intestinal surgery so the group pushed their appearance to 2016.

Tell us what you thought of Franklin's performance. Did it bring you to tears as well? Whose performance was your favorite?
