The U.K. official charts have unveiled the top songs of 2015 and there are few surprises at the top. The No. 1 song of the year was the dominant and irresistible, "Uptown Funk" from Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, while the rest of the top ten had tracks from the likes of OMI, courtesy of Felix Jaehn, Wiz Khalifa, Hozier, Adele, Justin Bieber and more.

"Uptown Funk" topped the charts for seven total weeks and stayed in the top 40 for 39 combined weeks, before falling out in October. It notched a combined sales and streaming total of 1.76 million in 2015.

2015 saw a total of 17 No. 1s over the course of 2015. The next best contender for the No. 1 overall song was the Felix Jaehn remix of OMI's "Cheerleader," which eventually took the top spot in April. It finished with combined sales of 1.52 million.

Hozier's "Take Me To Church" racked up 1.25 million combines sales for the third spot, while Ellie Goulding's 50 Shades Of Grey soundtrack contribution "Love Me Like You Do" comes in at number four with 1.19 combined sales. Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth's "See You Again." Rounds out the top five with 1.17 million.

The rest of the top 10 is dominated by Adele and Justin Bieber who take three of the spots, while Major Lazer's "Lean On" comes in seventh, with James Bay "Hold Back The River" in eight.
