Axl Rose has ditched his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where many expected him to officially confirm the Guns N' Roses rumors that have been running rampant. It's widely speculated that the band is planning on returning to their original line-up at Coachella 2016 and embarking on a tour following the festival.

The band is confirmed to headline Coachella along with LCD Soundsystem, but the exact Guns N' Roses line-up remains unclear. Fans were expectant that Rose would be giving more details on the future of the band in the interview.

Monday night (Jan. 4), the LA Times reported that Rose was pulling out of his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel  and a source close to the show said, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately Axl is no longer scheduled to be on Kimmel tomorrow."

The rumors about a Guns N' Roses reunion began to swirl when the original logo was posted to the band website along with merchandise that featured all of the initial members. Slash and Rose had an infamous 20-year feud but mended their differences in 2015.

Slash has usually discounted the possibility of an all-original reunion, but has in the past said to CBS that you can "never say never." Drummer Matt Sorum has also always declined to comment on the band rumors, but did say that he would not want to be a part of any reunion without the previous drummer Steven Adler.

If the rumors are true, the band will be heading off on a 25-date stadium tour beginning next summer following their headlining performance at Coachella. The rumors also imply that the first performance of the tour would occur at the Las Vegas Arena on April 6, and that Guns N' Roses would be asking for over $3 million for each show and nearly $8 million for a performance at Amnesia Rockfest in Quebec.
