Early on in Justin Bieber's career, he professed a Christian upbringing. Now, in a recent video, it seems as though the troubled pop star is going back to his roots.

In the video clip, Bieber speaks on the grace of God and his forgiveness.

"Imagine someone killing your son. Like a bunch of people killing your [son]; these are your people," he said. "It's like, how are you killing -- that's my son. It's gonna be hard for you to forgive. God forgave everyone, and they killed his son. That show's how much grace God [has]."

The clip is featured at the end of Christian rapper Brandon Burke's video "The Pledge."

Bieber is currently lending a hand to Burke and his GG4G (GoGettaz 4 God) project. Through the project, Burke is hoping to get one million "Pledges for God."

"We are asking that you make a Stand for what you believe in! What do you Pledge? This campaign is in association with "The Pledge", the first single from B. (Brandon Burke)," the site reads.

The site also describes GG4G as "an entertainment centered mission group focused on changing lives, developing leaders, impacting and influencing community and culture with the Kingdom of God."

GG4G hopes to influence the masses of education, religion, economy, family, government, media, and entertainment systems of the world through Prayer, Godly leadership, the word of God, and creative strategy.
