Techno titan Adam Beyer's Drumcode label is kicking-off 2016 with a new compilation album, called A-Sides Volume 4. Featured artists including Nicole Moudaber and the label's founder himself, have shared new music ahead of the compilation's release, MixMag reports.

A-Sides Volume 4 boasts ten tracks by an impressive roster of today's techno, tech house and house staples. Genre mavens Beyer, who highlights his own "Pluto," and Moudaber, who shares a new cut entitled "Own," are joined by Alan Fitzpatrick, Nick Curly, Mark Reeve, Dubspeeka and Pirupa as Brain Zoo among others.

Both experienced artists who have long been mainstays behind the decks and up-and-coming artists only recently emerging into the scene mix and mingle on the forthcoming release, making it present as a potential go-to for any techno aficionado. While each track can surely stand on its own, approaching the compilations as a whole rather than cherry picking "singles" is sure to illuminate exactly why the Swedish-based Drumcode label is often considered the industry standard for the current wave of techno.

Although the compilation is due to officially drop on January 11th, Magnetic Mag reports that it is already available to stream via the label's Soundcloud. Listen below.

Following the compilation album announcement, the Dutch techno brand Awakenings released the full lineup for the first-ever Awakenings NYC event scheduled to take over Hammerstein Ballroom this coming Valentine's Day. In addition to the previously reported initial lineup that includes Adam Beyer B2B Ida Engberg, Pan-Pot and Julia Govor B2B Kamran Sadeghi, Nicole Moudaber will be performing a set back to back with Victor Calderone. Beyer shared the updated event flyer on his Instagram, stating "It's coming!"

Besides her features on the Drumcode compilation and in the Awakenings NYC lineup, Moudaber has been busy touring and gearing up for a showcase set as well as a closing party set at BPM Festival in Mexico next week. Just before the holidays she shared another new track, "More Ways Than One," via MOOD Records' Soundcloud. Listen to "More Ways Than One" below.
