Legendary guitarist and singer-songwriter Joe Walsh was recently out and about honoring his friend Ozzy Osbourne at the MAP MusiCares benefit in LA. The funny thing is neither musician can say for sure just how long they've been friends -- perhaps due to their notorious party lifestyles back in the day.

Putting those times behind him, Walsh is now sober and keeping busy with a line up of projects, such as collaborating with the Foo Fighters and working on new material with the Eagles, both of which are certain to lead to some heavy anticipation.

"I've been playing on other people's stuff. I joined the Foo Fighters for two days and I played on a track of theirs that's gonna come out," he told Billboard. The opportunity came his way after Walsh's drummer, who is a great friend to the Foos, introduced them.

Walsh then admitted he was locking down some Eagles tracks as well, but isn't quite certain whether or not they will ever see the light of day; however, he did leak news that the Eagles will be back to tour the West Coast this fall. So stay tuned!
