Last week, Kanye West announced the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays and released his Ty Dolla $ign-assisted cut “Real Friends.” Erykah Badu, who flipped Drake’s “Hotline Bling” towards the close of 2015, decided to also remix West’s latest release.

Badu shared her version on SoundCloud and titled it "TRILL FRIENDS: BADU WHODINI rough mix.” Throughout her rendition, she borrowed some phrases from Whodini's 1984 single "Friends," and added an interpolation of a line from her own “I’ll Call U Back.”

With the upload, Badu also revealed that she has another mixtape in the works.

"JUST ride out to this," she wrote on SoundCloud. "What up Yeezy? BADU MESSIN ROUND THIS MORNIN (really suppose be recording something else ...) presently in the BADUDIO w/ ZACH WITNESS. From the forth coming mixtape, THIS $h!t TOO EASY."

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Badu released her But You Caint Use My Phone mixtape, which features contributions from Andre 3000 and a Drake sound alike named ItsRoutine. Hopefully, this new project will include the real Drake, a request that doesn’t seem too far-fetched.

During an interview with Pitchfork, Badu spoke on the possibility of collaborating with the Toronto rapper.

“He’s with me every step of the way. We’re not finished—you thought I was through?!”

Earlier this week, Badu shared a new minimix titled "+++Beats Bees Like for B-Boys and B-Girls+++." The "feel good high freaq mix" features cuts from Sun Ra, The Bee Gees, Deerhoof and Toro Y Moi, among others. As previously reported, the mix first premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show back in November.

No word on when to expect Badu's new project. Check back with us for more updates.
