The confetti from last night's American Idol season 13 finale hasn't even all been swept up from the floor of Los Angeles' Nokia Theater, but the newest victor Caleb Johnson has already announced his debut album.

The morning after taking the latest Idol title and trophy, Johnson announced a self-titled full-length album for Aug. 12 on Interscope, according to Idolator (though host Ryan Seacrest also hinted at the album release date after Johnson's winning moment during the Idol finale).

Alongside a release date, Johnson's self-titled album has received an official album cover, simply featuring a black and white full-length image of the rocker, guitar slung over his back as he stands on a white rooftop. His name appears on the left side of the LP in a deep red.

Johnson's album will be a self-titled release is available for pre-order now in the iTunes store for a cool $7.99. The album is listed as having 10 songs, though only the first is named: his coronation single "As Long As You Love Me" (penned by Justin Hawkings of The Darkness).

The roaring rock track is steeped in cock rock tradition, with heavy guitars keeping the beat as Johnson wails all over the single. It simultaneously recalls all the best and worst parts of the 1980s as Johnson declares that he just needs simple love from his female friend, not anything 24/7.

Johnson took the crown during last night's American Idol finale, winning over 17-year-old pop-punk singer Jena Irene Asciutto. In the star-packed two-hour season ender, Johnson performed alongside Kiss and Aloe Blacc, as well as his fellow Idol finalists. Paramore, Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, Phillip Phillips and Jason Mraz also performed during the finale.
