Robin Thicke will follow up his first No. 1 album Blurred Lines with a new album due out July 1 through Star Trak/Interscope Records, Billboard reports.

He has already released the lead single "Get Her Back," which he debuted live during the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and performed last night on The Voice. The song is believed to be Thicke's plea to his estranged wife, Paula Patton, to rekindle their love following their highly publicized separation in February.

"I gotta get it through, get it through, get it through, get her back / I gotta treat her right, I gotta cherish her for life," Thicke sings on the subdued R&B track while listing his regrets.

Beyond the release date and lead single, not many details have been revealed about the effort. A title, tracklist and album art are forthcoming.

His last effort, released in July 2013, featured the Pharrell/T.I. collaboration "Blurred Lines," last year's song of the summer and Thicke's first single to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
