It's officially Yeezy season on Saturday Night Live. Following the release of his new album Waves, Kanye West is set to appear as a musical guest on the long-running sketch comedy show, alongside host Melissa McCarthy.

SNL confirmed its February lineup on Twitter, announcing that West is set to take the stage on Saturday, Feb. 13, just two days after Swish's planned release date. He joins pop rockers The 1975 in SNL's upcoming lineup. The 1975 will be performing on Feb. 6 with host Larry David.

West is no stranger to the Saturday Night Live stage, and his 2015 appearance will mark his fifth appearance on the show. He made his late night SNL debut in 2005 with host Steve Carrell. West has since performed in 2007 (alongside LeBron James), 2008 (Hugh Laurie), 2010 (Bryan Cranston). West last appeared as a musical guest in 2013 with host Ben Affleck. His last appearance on Saturday Night Live surrounded the release of Yeezus, and West tackled "Black Skinhead" and "New Slaves."

West's upcoming SNL appearance is tied to his new album Waves, which is set to be released on Feb. 11. However, this performance won't be the first time he rapped Waves material at 30 Rock. He also appeared on the SNL 40 special last year to premiere a new song "Wolves," featuring Sia and Vic Mensa.

West is just one act in a long list of season 41 musical guests on Saturday Night Live. Other guests have included Selena Gomez, Chance the Rapper, Bruce Springsteen, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Adele and more.
